PPC & Community Marketing Manager

Full-Time/Permanent

Evolution Power Tools are seeking a creative-thinking PPC & Community Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Department at our Sheffield office, during an exciting period of international expansion. 

This is a fantastic opportunity within our business where you will be managing ongoing brand awareness, campaign development and delivery to drive target brand and commercial objectives. You will be responsible for growing awareness, consideration and preference for the Evolution brand in the most efficient digital ways.

We are looking for a passionate executive who lives and breathes the full cycle of digital marketing which deliver tangible business benefits. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the job holder will have opportunity to span all digital media channels. It's about helping Evolution look at innovative channel strategies across paid, earned and owned media so we remain current and continue to grow.  

You’ll be at the top of your game when it comes to creating consumer experiences and unique, relevant content strategies that change behaviour, opinion and habits. You'll be naturally inquisitive and a ROI hunter.

How two worlds collide...

Your primary focus will be on generating new interest but will have varied day-to-day activities, ranging from:

Paid Media (60% Role Activity)

  • ATL brand campaigns using Facebook & Instagram paid ads and sales funnels.
  • Championing ‘test and learn’ ad strategies on other paid social networks (Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc).
  • Search marketing campaigns driving D2C and eMarketplace revenues (Amazon, eBay, Google, Bing ad experience and certifications advantageous). 

Earned Media (40% Role Activity)

  • Executing established influencer marketing program, turning YouTube influencers into brand ambassadors, generating Evolution rich-media product reviews and projects, working to agreed KPIs and budgets. Piloting TikTok influencers.
  • Complete end-to-end relationship management with influencers, from initial outreach emails to logistics. Responsible for managing a budget within your influencer pot and take full control on negotiation with influencers to get the most out of it. Producing engaging content designed to achieve goals including: generating valuable backlinks, building trust with Google and obtaining valuable search engine traffic.
  • Building relationships with journalists and publications relevant to Evolution’s product portfolio, for product launch and editorial releases.

 

Main Duties & Tasks

  • Deliver effective digital marketing and campaigns to increase brand and product awareness and reach sales targets with clear reporting and insights.
  • Utilise experience of online marketing strategies including Paid Media, social platforms, content marketing, targeting & retargeting to create effective campaigns.
  • Use Paid Media platform knowledge to run multiple campaigns at once. 
  • Create campaigns from start to finish including research, testing & tracking, copy/messaging, organising workflows, publishing approved content and meeting deadlines.
  • Utilise thorough knowledge ad targeting to ensure we reach the right people, at the right time on the right platform.
  • Collaborate with the design & development teams to create highly engaging content tailored to our target audience.
  • Produce and critically analyse campaign reports to make recommendations to improve campaigns and content.
  • Design conversion funnels to understand our audience/consumer habits to improve our digital marketing reach and conversion. 
  • Use the passion for social media to stay current with industry trends and future developments.

 

Experience

  • 2 – 3 years’ or more experience in a Paid Media role.
  • Proven success of strategising and executing Paid Media across social strategies. 
  • Solid experience with online marketing strategies including, Paid Media, social platforms, content marketing, targeting & retargeting.
  • Experience of creating a campaign from start to finish including research, testing & tracking, creative direction, organising workflows, publishing approved content and meeting deadlines.
  • A passion for social media and a desire to learn new industry trends.
  • Analytical ability to create and critically analyse reports.
  • Effective communication skills to be able to work effectively as part of the rest of the Marketing team to create engaging campaigns.
  • Project Management skills with the ability to organise and manage own workload.
  • Ability to act calmly under pressure and work to deadlines.
  • A keen interest in power tools would be an advantage. 
  • Ability to communicate in French, Polish or German would also be advantageous.

 

Education

  • DMI/CIM in Digital Marketing qualification. Or, a related digital marketing qualification.
  • Certified with Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint and Bing Ads would be desirable.

  • Confident with Databases - social media advertising is a data driven pursuit. You must be comfortable analysing data to understand patterns and opportunities for improvement.
  • Passion for Learning - social media is constantly changing, so it requires an individual with a real desire to keep up with the latest market developments to be able to impact our output.
  • Platforms and software – you will be comfortable using an array of digital platforms including Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics as well as being able to pick up new software quickly to assess the effectiveness of the campaigns
  • Teamwork and Drive – despite our sustained growth, we remain a close team who are happy to support each other in all aspects of the role, so we are looking for someone with the same mindset who is eager to learn and support our other colleagues. 
  • Initiative and Continuous Improvement - as well as supporting the Digital Marketing Manager, you will feel comfortable taking responsibility and identify new areas and opportunities which we can collectively explore.

Location / Department

The role will be based at our head office in Sheffield, UK.

Working Hours

This position is full-time and standard working hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
